As the title says, this weekend did not go as planned. At all. As you all know Saturday was cold and rainy. All day. Which just happened to be the day that I went to the crafts fair, which was in Hillsboro, where it also rained. All day. Now, you all know that I love rain so I had no problem walking through the craft show in it. We actually thought it was fun. What I didn't like is that people would crowd around so you couldn't move, and they NEVER put their umbrellas down! I about lost my eye 14 different times. But other than that, and having to come all the way home freezing cold in soaking jeans, it was a lot of fun.
Then the next day, me and a friend went out of town so I could shoot some photos for a project, but the road suddenly changed from sand to black dirt and it was A LOT more muddy than we thought it'd be. Needless to say I got my car stuck in the mud. But hey that was a first for me so I don't feel too bad. Luckily we got stuck literally right beside my friend's dad's house. So he came and dug/pulled my car out. It took us about 20 minutes (give or take) to get out, and the mud on my tires was so thick, it made my whole car was vibrating on interstate. So that was my eventful weekend.

THUNDER!!
Before anything else I have to say that I am loving this weather. It's a nice change, and it was even thundering this morning when I came to school! Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE storms(so I'm pretty much happy even when we only have clouds), and now those of you who didn't know do. Well, my classes and internship have been keeping me pretty busy so there's not really any dull moments going on right now. Looking forward Saturday though because I'll be out of town for the day to a craft show. I've never been to it before (it's an annual fair somewhere around Gypsm), but everyone says it's pretty cool and well known. Guess I'll just have to wait and see. Let you know what it's like when I get back!

Opera
The upcoming student opera is called the Cavaleria Rusticana (Rustic Chivarlry) by Pietro Mascagni. It's a romantic tragedy that takes place in one act, and has about five main actors (Turiddu, Lola, Alfio, Santuzza, Lucia). I think you can sign up for an audition now, and the opera is planned to take place sometime in November at the Stiefel Theatre.
